What's even the argument against killing myself? I can think of two:

The main reason I stay alive is because I don't think the world will look the same by 2030.
Transformers models were previously thought unable to achieve AGI status due to presumptions that they could not innovate, but this has been blown out of the water with AlphaEvolve, so I think there is a good chance we can get to singularity with Transformers-based models, and fairly soon.

The way that I see it either the world goes up in flames and I die anyway (we all do) or we get radical utopian space Communism. So I don't think there is a point in premature suicide because I think there is a good chance life will look completely different for everyone in a few years (for better or for worse).

I like to think that our current lives are a comparatively minuscule, unimportant and dull prequel to a space opera. If singularity doesn't happen or power becomes centralized and gatekept, then I wouldn't see a reason to endure either.
