And instead of it being 8 hours they made it 4 hours only, 5x a week of actual teaching.

It’d give teens/young adults more time to explore, allow part time work, more time for homework and after school activities.

The biggest downside is massive economic problems because of the delayed work force.

No, the biggest downside is that all the most critical learning needs to happen at the age of peak elasticity, so theres no point to take some hours of education from then and set it to be taught later. But we dont need anything close to 8 hrs of learning in a day anyway.

Wait, arnt you just implying everyone would be forced to go to college and basically two doctorates? I was against it at first but I was thinking with my little brain, I need to think big brain. Pretty good idea. But you'd have to come out with at least one doctorate and you'd probably work in your field while in your twenties.

Most of school is just busywork that teaches you absolutely nothing of use in real life. School just wants to make brainwashed slaves

My childhood sucked as well, but I'm 2 years into adulthood and I'm not doing particularly good now either so IDK LMAO
at least in school we had summer break, off for whatever holidays, and less responsibility thanks to parents. now we have slavery year round, have to get paid vacations (while dreading when you return to slavery)

Not a bad idea, do you have a system in mind or an idea how that might work? I'm aware Finland has a rather fair education. Linus, from one interview he did appeared to have had a quality time whilst at school.

How did Finland enter the conversation, is pento Finnish?

For reference, Linus speaks Swedish as native language and says his Finnish is "not good". He only got a grasp of it at uni.
