White parents are the least family-oriented. They expect you to be an ardent individualist, which is imo more to do with genetics given that whites have the weakest in-group bias; Western society is basically a derivative of their genetic proclivities for individual transaction which is tied up in the fact that for most of history Europe was comprised of a fragmented network of kingdoms rather than being unified under a single caliph or emperor like east, which produced the individual-collective divide as individual traits were selected for. There are so many horror stories about spiteful white parents kicking their kin out at 18 like dogs, it's like they have no concept of family. You can forget about extended family supporting you. I am astonished when I hear about ethnic households where they all live together and support each other, this concept is just completely absent for white people imo.
