When I was in india i was told not to donate to anyone anyone without investigating,
told there are beggars with more bank accounts than i have years in age. the begger with one leg is one of the richest guys in the city

Begging is a profession backed by gangs and even government where they take their cuts and the beggars make good money .

since the beggars dont got any expenses so they save it all up , tonnes of cases in Pakistan where beggars had millions of rupees( 10s of thousands of dollars ) piled up .
