Did you enroll in an uni (and secured conscription exemption)?

Even Ukraine is sparing drafting under 25 year olds, prefering to keep them in reserves "for future use". Russia has larger population and so far not ran out of volunteers...

If conscripted, just don't sign the contract at the end of service. Better yet keep grinding and get a PhD in Mongolian basketweaving studies; this helps a lot with Western HRs.

Ordinary Russian society, like when I walk into the aforemntioned bookstore, has long checked out from following war progress or lack thereof. Which is why it goes for so long and there's little sign of discontent.

Economic pain did not materealize for us and reading various foreigners seethe only added up to indifference. The war is considered gladiator games for utter retards: Russian alcoholic villagers vs crazy hohols.

That's how Americans wage their colonial wars, and the Kremlin learned.
