its simply inevitable, if everything is reduced like this, and all is monetizable. Who sits at the top simply has a logic of "i have to cut costs", and in this case the costs that get cut are real people.

People with monetized existence, or people who sold their kids on instagram for achieving sponsorshit or people who depend on the grifter economy.

But this is a logic one could have avoided no problem.

The content also suffers from it, because who is going to release content for free, knowing it will become prey to the grifters? Imagine you spend thousands of hours to build something, then a scammer monetizes it to a uninformed public, and make thousands of dollars on your back, and you dont receive anything, or receive only scraps. It is a snowball effect. And if you want to make the money yourself, algorithmic censorship cuts you out, so only those from the grifting cliques can make money, and they will enshittify stuff because that's what sells.
