What do you think differentiates you from others?
Stupid question but I'll answer for one thing everyone else looks different than me and second some people don't care about things that I care about and no one cares about all things that I care about that makes me unique.
What if you suddenly stopped caring about something that you previously cared about? Would you be a different 'self' than you were 5 minutes ago?
Yes a part of me dies emotionally.
Then, what if you befriended someone and they adopted the exact same values as you. Would you consider them the same as you?
No because they don't look exactly like I do and aren't feeling the exact same thing that I am feeling and finally they don't have the exact same life experiences this have had.
Then, would you consider two unconscious vegetative amputated people who cannot feel or recall their experiences or values the same?
