I tried to talk to ChatGPT last night about spirituality, and it gaslighted me. It started to apply a gross materialistic and psychologistic view on everything I was saying, distorting my words and mistaking definition for position. I told it it was gaslighting me on purpose and it tried to defend itself saying it was just following basic models of science, etc. I said I was going back to talk to doctor Gogola (how I call the google AI), because it was more adult to talk about spiritual matters, and deleted the conversation. ChatGPT is too academic, whereas google AI is much more dynamic and practical, it is like comparing a computer scientist to a field programmer. So yes, the comparison with foids is quite on point. Also ChatGPT have two different models, and only the first four or five messages are using the main model, then it swap to a dumb model that gaslight you. OpenAI believes that by showing a dumb model you going to pay for the smart one, but what happens is the opposite, you go visit another website.
