Extremes are places of pain. Too much pessimism and you end up depressing yourself and in pain. Too much optimism and you end up blaming yourself and in pain. I'm still grasping with the idea of pain existing in order for us to appreciate pleasurable things; I'm a pessimist after all, I won't just eat those NPC ideas, they have to be subjected to a rigurous analysis and of course, feeling and intuition. Anyways, it seems this reality is all about duallities, they are everywhere: Yin-Yang Blackill-Whitepill Science-Spirituality Body-Mind Biology-Psychology Chaos-Order Evil-Good Antimatter-matter Physics-Metaphysics Demon-Angel Ugly-Beautiful Short-Tall Stupid-Intelligent And so on... There are some extremes on which we are placed and it is not our fault. It is never our fault. Try to remind yourself that fact everyday. I was being too hard on myself due to the circumstances I was placed in and I'm still in. It made me suffer even more, it was like my external problems weren't enough for me that I had to go and create internal problems so that I could suffer more. Dealing with difficult things is difficult, but even though my ego resisted the idea, I think I have learned to let go of my resistance to accept that some of part of this idea might be true, in short, one should never allow oneself to be a victim of circumstance. The problem is not evolving, not doing something about it, not transforming yourself. Even giga Blackpill youtubers like RehabRoom criticized the idea of not doing anything with your life. I think that allowing ourselves to be victims of our circumstances is the worst thing possible because we get stuck on ways of thinking that end up producing more pain in the long run. It is like we are slowly digging our own graves and we are not even realizing it while life gets worse. Sure, it is painful to see other people living lives out of a fantasy, but you are you brother, they are them. If you don't do something it will be you the one who will suffer, not them. Even if our ego/animal brain wants to compare itself to everything and everyone, it doesn't make any sense. After all, no one chooses to find themselves in unfortunate circumstances. Letting go of resistance itself is painful. Do not be too hard on yourself, remember that you're a human after all.
