In case my current character dies I pretty much have no clue what to play.
I'm thinking that as I have most experience with artificer I would stick with that and play like armorer or battle smith I'm thinking these classes are about equally as strong as each other.
Some of my math shows that armorer actually deals atleast comparable because of sharpshooter maths, advantage is super good against high ac or about as much and has some more shit going on for it. Whatever, the class seems to deal about the same amount of damage and has the same survivability with added benefit of potentially anti invisibility, stealth, movement speed, some better infusions too and yeah. Only thing that sucks is not having shield and a portable trap tanker. But it has wall of force, anti heat metal, greater invisibility.
I think it's a pretty strong class was thinking of going a class with some bonus actions in case the homunculus can't be used so like shadar kai. Maxing con int dex
