[QUOTE="Sovereign, post: 63164, member: 10"] [SIZE=7]There is a scene within an old Buddhist cartoon where the buddha and his father, and other relatives are at a farming parade. Now during that scene young buddha is watching as he sees a bird fly menacingly and takes a worm, only to then be taken by an eagle; he turns his head around in anguish. There was a scene in the same animation where Upali a sudra (the lowest in the caste system) came to buddha and asked "can a humble sudra like me be your disciple?" and the buddha replied " Upali, does a torch light one direction and not the other? Does water quench the thirst of one and not the other? The Dharma ( Darhma meaning natural law) that I teach is not for one person or another, but for everyone ( that is not verbatim, but you get the idea).
