At least the buddhism ricecels practice, with the fire incense and false Buddhist statues.
Literally there is no community gathering, there is no sense of connection unity.
I don't think the average Asian even knows the theoretical aspects of Buddhism and dharma and enlightenment etc.
It doesn't even encourage wealth building, in fact my mum constantly says something in her language along the lines of if you want something so much and greed? Then the bird will fall down when you ride it because of the weight of the goods.
She constantly says everything deng bo ai. Which basically means don't desire anything.
