I can relate, when I was struggling with my grades in my freshman and sophomore years, I felt like I was left behind and no one was really there to help me, and because of that my mental healthy deteriorated even further and I considered suicide a lot especially when I got my report cards. If someone asked me how I got out out of it, I could tell them what they wanna hear which would be me just "doing it", while I guess you could say that, a large part of it was just luck. But honestly as long as you're trying or at least are trying to try, then you're good.
