Yo, legends of the forum! I’m unleashing a Pathfinder Second Edition play-by-post rager, and we’re cracking open the haunted skull of Abomination Vaults! We’re rolling with the slick remastered Player Core and GM Core rules, and this ain’t your grandma’s turn-by-turn slog. You drop your character’s wildest intentions, and I’ll spin them into a dark, gripping tale, smashing through 10 turns at a clip to keep the blood pumping.

The Deets:

  • Adventure: Abomination Vaults—think cursed ruins and nightmares that bite.
  • System: Pathfinder 2e, juiced up with Player Core and GM Core remastered rules.
  • Vibe: Narrative-driven play-by-post. You post your character’s schemes, I weave the chaos.
  • Rhythm: Expect my posts often
  • Character Creation: Level 1, Player Core ancestries and classes. Hit me up to tie your backstory to the terror.
The Scoop: Tenzent’s already deep in character-crafting mode, nearly locked and loaded. We’ve got space for 2 more renegades to storm Otari’s Gauntlight Keep and face the horrors within.

How to Join the Fray:

  1. Drop a reply with your vibe—ancestry, class, and a spark of your character’s soul or story.
  2. Slide into my PMs to hammer out your sheet and any juicy plot hooks.
  3. Strap in and start posting when we kick this beast off!
You ready to spit in the face of ancient evils, slay unspeakable horrors, and carve your name into the Abomination Vaults? This is our shot to make something legendary. Who’s got the guts?

Got questions? Scream ‘em below or PM me.

@Registered

i believed there might be more engagement from such a high profile post
i used to think nobody would be interested because play by post isnt wildly popular
I think it seems so right for a neet community and might be popular here because interest by Tenzent

Dont worry its easier than it sounds
I'll be pinning this thread then. But it seems like you're only doing it for 3 people?

I dont imagine lots of people wanting to play. The actual recommended number of players are 4-6 I prefer smaller groups why i say 3. Thats technically because IRL experience. I will raise to 3-6 players to better balance difficulty and i might like that more. start at 3 for the starter quest which is a short one that is set in the same area. Players that go inactive i will play for. for a while and eventually be replaced so its actually it can be many more because deadbeats can be replaced.

I was planning on Tenzent running solo and Id post our somo adventure here and it would promote an online table game. I dont think im very good at table games. I figure out how to run play by post instead in a way that will work for a low activity forum. I am surprised i havent thought of this before

I'll pin this thread then and this can be an ongoing thing.

Alright, you can add me then. You can use the same character you made for me in that Pathfinder thread. I figure it's just roleplaying, not too complicated, isn't it? (Or am I dreadfully mistaken?)

You are right but Its also one of the more complicated TTRPGs but some game masters can handhold players just right that they are comfortable. the way im running it as a PbP though its not like a not like a normal game at all. Its like an interactive ai dungeon but with a human game master running it. You also need to plan way ahead because i will run things along a bit faster to move things along. so you are like your characters coach on the most part.
