Freud believed in the concept of a Madonna-Whore complex, where someone with the complex may see women as either pure and virtuous (Madonna), or as impure and morally corrupt (Whore).
I developed a Madonna-Whore complex myself in my teens due to rampant escapism and idealization. I really hated to see girls I thought were "Madonnas" betray my expectations of them, even though it was all in my head. And I always avoided seeing "Whores" as worthy of respect or admiration. Embracing the blackpill made me care so much less about this...
I think many men today struggle with a Madonna-Whore complex due to the large disconnect between women in video games, anime etc and women IRL. What about you?
