Do you play The Sims franchise? And if so, why?
Also, which of the series is your favourite?

I'm personally torn between Sims 1, Sims 2, and Urbz PS2/GCN and Urbz GBA/NDS.
I also like the MySims games. I was happy to see them re-released. I was also happy to see Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Collections, even though they were buggy at first - which, credit to EA, they fixed the bugs almost completely as far as I can gather.

As much as I dislike The Sims 4 in comparison to the older games, I do like some of the expansions/DLCs and what they've added to the game over time.
My biggest issue is it just feels so barebones when compared to the earlier entries. Adding to that, if you want the complete experience legally and on Steam, it apparently costs over $1000 in my currency, which is quite literally insane when you can get Sims 2 - which is a masterpiece of a life simulation game - for $49.99 AUD (includes all the DLC). Sims 1 is even cheaper with all the DLC included.
Honestly, what sucks is that I'm fairly sure they updated the price of Sims 1 Legacy and Sims 2 Legacy to be even more expensive. I got them when they first released on Steam (when they were a buggy mess) and I swear Sims 2 only cost me about $29.99 AUD and Sims 1 was only $19.99. I could be mistaken, however.

No, but I am playing Rimworld, which is like a Sims, but with worse graphics and focus on defening from enemies/events.
