My experiences with the video games was mainly Pokémon Platinum on the Nintendo DS. My interest fell off after the release of the 3DS and 6th gen, as my parents didn't think it was worth spending money on the new console and the new games. However, I enjoyed playing the older games on emulators as a young teen.
