I wouldn't say he's dead, he has a very strong character, I could tell from watching the video. Most people would crawl up and die in his situation but there is this element of striving that he possesses which allows him to continue and progress with his life despite those injuries.

he does have a lot of pride and courage at this state. My fear is that us humans are natural lookists and I fear for his safety. But usually nothing but good comes out of people when someone goes through something like this, I wish him the best.
