Depends how long you’re speaking she or he will grow an attachment and think of all the good memories you two shared. Pain and pleasure are powerful bonds.

Yea ngl I recall reading a pretty crazy thread on this a while back on .org. I don't feel like looking for it, but the type of bond created from mixing the two is legit insane (stockholm syndrome?).

Abuse is the easiest way to create a sense of danger and adrenaline rush, but on the other hand, there are probably better ways to go about cultivating that kind of attachment without having to hurt them. I think you can create the same attachment if they are in danger and you save their life for example.
