Legit one of my favorite movies, It’s based on a novella that was inspired by a real diary found with a body in a Japanese forest back in the early 80s.It’s a 2009 documentary-style film based on a real-life Japanese case where a man basically decided to check out by starving himself in a tent in the middle of a forest.
