In all social environments, learning the community BS jargon vocabulary is sufficient to reach a functional level of communication. This would be the level that allows you evoke meaning inside the head of the gregarious animal normie.
Most normies d0nt read. Its a thing I learned in the past, and I noticed book review bloggers do not really engage with any book. For instance, the trick of bible quoters is they d0nt read bible. The trick of nietzsche quoters and why they are able to quote him so much is they d0nt read. Its their secret, but this is an open secret that is kept by an entire community at times.
Its like the lie of santa claus, adults were used to tell that lie, they said "its for the children", in reality it wasnt. The open secret is a degenerated corruption of an entire society, like mafia that has to be sustained by a shared immorality inside the entire group. If you believe you have to engage primary texts, the normies had you. They (the normies) can force you to be passive, read endless books, interpret endless ideas, be stuck reading endless things they instead engaged far more superficially than what youre doing. I was tricked by this system when I was 22, and only gods know what insane sacrifice it costed me. I payed it, like the idiot I am, and then I realized the reality around me, I was the stupid "believer" and they were the cynical frauds who fucked me in the ass.
If you read, nobody is going to reward you, they just slander you if you are able to criticize or think about something. You only face losses and punishment if you read, the entire society is built so you be ostracized and cast at the margins if you DARE to read anything. The system is a fraud.
There is no explicit ban on reading, this is the trap of our current society. Theres no laws saying "reading is bad". But there is a social incentive structure that quietly discourages it.
Interpretation produce few rewards, it mostly carries social costs and ostracization. People who examine assumptions become inconvenient "persona non grata" because they resist group narratives.
In our current degenerate immoral world, info-based participation is valued more than understanding which is why people value the idea of "heart in the right place", which means even if you are not cultivated you can b accepted based on "foundational premises". This is also why horkheimer, marcuse and adorno formulated morally their SJW revolution, they created a composit equivalent of when food engineers created the pringles for mass consumption. Once this moral coposit made into normies heads it was already processed liquid shit.
This is the key to unlock basic communication with normies.
Words function as cognitive shortcuts. Or you can literally create shortcuts on your own, once you understand better the system youre dealing with. Using portable symbols is the way forward. This does not mean that ideas are unimportant and you have to dumb it down at all costs. Im simply saying if you want to achieve everyday interactions for survival purposes, you have to use the shortcut. The shortcut does not prohibits you to engage the primary sources, but is the essential skill you need to tackle normie aggression.
