I'd like to think I'm not as well. I don't have a particular hatred toward life, and the human condition, more toward this world if anything. As you mentioned, people believe that since there's more negative experiences than positive ones in life, that makes it objectively bad. Or that the human experience is innately suffering due to us never being satisfied. But I don't really see it that way. I've always kept my wants very minimal. I enjoy small pursuits: going for walks and sightseeing, consuming media and art, and while I don't really have a "productive" hobby, I'm considering picking up something in the future. Chasing extravagant materialistic pleasures and lifestyles will almost guaranteed lead to suffering This is where I would say I'm somewhat nihilist. I'm lazy, dropped out of society to NEET, so I don't really have much motivation to do anything (like pursue a skill or hobby). When I look at the state of society and the world, I feel more and more demoralized. Life is pretty stacked against young men. I frequently wish I'd be reborn so my life might have some meaning in another world. And while it's obvious I should stake my life in the here and now, I never fall through, and return to old habits. In fact, I'm not sure what I want out of life. 100%. People will circle jerk something on social media, despite having no agency to change it. It's just a feedback look of negativity. And I won't lie, I'm a victim of this, even on forums.
