I picked a book from marcus aurelius. And I noticed that I was agreeing with him alot, he also gave me new ideas that I liked.

Usually I dont like philosophy because it is very vague, and pretends to be "profound", I was thinking it was a sexual signal, a way to show women that your brain can perform various calculations and tasks and create intricate thoughts.

My idea was that philosophy is like the study of cabal or study of complex ancient languages, it is a way to tell women: I am high rank, even if maybe you arent bon in the nobility. No wonder why religious groups gave wives to people able to remember the complex religious systems of their culture, afterall it is truly a demanding activity for the brain, probably there is also a prosocial eugenics aspect to this practice of studying bullshit.

But I found this life coach/philosophy that I like, and I wanted to share it with you. It is Marcus Aurelius book called "meditations". Its not a standard philosophy book because it goes straight to the point and solves issues very fast.

We are accustomed to philosophers that talk for decades and never spot solutions to issues. Marcus Aurelius is very fast and very practical. Infact I appreciated it. Its rare that I like a philosophy, another philosophy book that I liked was the Stirner book called "the one and his property", I considered it a memetic book, very funny.

All the other philosophy books I like tend to be practical, like aristotle (de anima book) and I am a fan of Giordano Bruno (not because he was burned, I like him because of his memory retention techniques).
