So I went down to my local mental hospital today and met some people and now i am very dead inside. I need to recharge my batteries I cannot get into the zone.
How does one recharge their batteries from the anxiousness of reality it seems very hard to do so. I am very dead inside. Ahahah. There is no way for me to achieve sanctity. I am very kind I am very curious. Present and kindness I am very kind.
I am very nice what is sadness like do I feel a tingling. I'm here I care tell me what happened. Meditation practice is to reparent ourselves. How much do I need to practice to get benefits. 12 minutes is the threshold we start to see the benefits. It's sort of the minimum. What you practice goes stronger. And you get more. My intention for learning this practice is to be good. What's bothering me. Start with ridiculously low goals. At a baseline we are gonna meditate one minute a day. It's important with mindfulness practice to find a time and place. Find a group. Little change has big impact, it's not about doing right, it's not a self improvement project. It's a self liberation project. It's about greater degrees of passion and clarity. The first theme of mindfulness is slowing down.
What is it about being a good samaritan. I'm hurt please help me when they were told that the lecture would wait for them, they stopped they helped them not when they were rushing to get to the lecture across the campus told were late. Part of mindfulness is about accepting what is happening what is there already. Suffering equals pain times resistance. 5 x 0 suffering. We gotta increase our resistance.
Third is response capacity, respond with agility and grace. Amydala hijack completely triggered releases all these stress hormones and causes various responses. Mindfulness allows a pause between the cause and response. Allows us to rest in a pause of being. Mindfulness offers us more degrees of freedom in our life. When we have choice and we can make change. We hold off on judgement.
