Why do normies give me dirty looks, no matter what mental state I’m in or what tasks I have at hand they’re always looking at me like there’s something wrong with me

And I know it’s the truth about how they truly feel about me but it’s usually strangers who don’t know shit about me. I would rather people just keep their thoughts to themself than me even hearing them whisper something about me, it makes me feel bad about myself, like I did something wrong (which to them I did which is why they’re staring at me like that).
