i don't know any guys with a "healthy relationship" with their father

i only know people with one of the three:

1. cuck/oofy doofy father - impossible to respect
2. violent/controlling father
3. absent father

often times a combination. Mine is 1 and 2 and turned into 3 after i grew big enough that he would still beat me in individual fights but my bones healed faster than his so i won by round 3.

is this a class thing, like i just live somewhere that's trash around a bunch of meme bug people or is this just society?

My dad was bad as they come. Wayy worse than what a typical nigger has but at least he got out of the way

I had "surrogate dad" figures but most were oofy doofy/hard to respect

My mom talked about her dad as some perfect superhero

Bla bla bootstrap success he worked hard

Now I realized she held back resentment

They had no emotional connection and she never got close to him

He also degraded into an oofy doofy and his wife screeches at him for not doing enough as a retiree in his 80s

Same with me to him. I respect his wagie accomplishment or whatever but no real connection there

I suspect for the dad thing to work you have to bring your kid on edgy special trips away from mom while still having a good relationship with her

Like dad rides motorcycles with you

Or goes hunting in the woods

Or brings you to Peru to look for treasure

This isn't going out of the way really, as every man with balls wants to do this type of thing with their children.

Your grandpa probably worked so you wouldn't have to be a child soldier, but ironically, if you were for a few years 10 years ago and fought with him, you save his life and he save your life you'd be close ASF with him.
