I realize these primitive lifestyle things are supposed to be romantic but they look depressing to me, they seem to presume human is already perefect and we have to be stuck prisoners of a small land allotment. Prisoners of mental definitions and of local status you have no way to overcome.
The first prison they cast on you is mental: made of imaginary concepts that dont hold to scrutiny, not even the most basic. Definitions of "technology", lists of tools "alowed", BS definitions about "modernity" and nonsense galore.
There are spinoffs such as amish lifestyle or anarcho primitivism that define categories of tech, and they write lists of "allowed tools", based on criteria only known to the eceleb guru leaer of the group. The amish seems the most fair and objective group, they let you know they use general "rule of thumb" when judging a form of tech, they decide which is antisocial on a whim, based on what they feel harms the community. Despite this seems unfair and weird, I think at least is honest, they tell you straight "I dont give a shit, I make my own rules", which is OK I guess.
I could describe amish as champions of low tech, because their mastery of such instruments is far above average, I seen how they forge, how they construct buildings, these people are not "low tech" they are masters in their own right, they have skill that surpass ours by a lot. Well they certainly surpass me.
The anarcho primitivists instead are the least organized and least capable of achieving any form of tech, so they are vastly inferior compared to amish. They also suffer bcause they are solely led by ecelebs and supposed "charismatic figures" and each of them has their own personal opinion which tech is good which is bad. One of them is sverige, he subjectively declares that hair transplant tech is OK thumbs up, but he subjectively declares that knowledge of how to grow tomatoes is "not OK" thumb down. So far, despite sverige has attained considerable social status as a tech eceleb, he bulit nothing, achieved nothing and did nothing.

Their biggest leaders like unabomber produced some of the shittest weapons in the history of improvised weaponry, and even I surpassed it when I created the raptor bow 300fps on my own. Which proves even a single man can surpass an entire movement in tech, achievement and knowledge.
I think even a gypsy collective is superior compared to anarcho primitivism, even an early roman encampment blasts them into the toilet.
In the end you have to contend with this objective fact: that humans are tech animals and we are defined primarily by what we do, and what tech we mastered. For example I primarily draw hentai so people know me for my hentai. It is what it is, I mastered some forms of tech, and I became an hentai enthusiast. I am what I do. And this is true for sverige as well, he is what he does, he is a youtuber primarily, because this is what he did with his life. Youtube is the form of tech sverige mastered, and he will be remembered to his grave as "the internet eceleb" because thats about it.
