On MGTOW community, they said they had resentment against society because the path they were told to pursue didnt exist or was broken or partially unavailable.
I mean, I dont know what is it, they all are inspired by different memes coming from all sources imaginable, like family of the 50s postcards or ideas from shows and movies. What a bullshit. Lets do a mental experim.
Imagine there is 1 path that works, and is solid like steel, unchanging eternal and perfect unblemished. A path that really gives justice to the idea of "milestone", carved in rocks forever. Something that gives comfort to the normie, "the ultimate reality of life". Hypernormie overdrive total absolute certainty.
There was once said to be a Road. Not merely a road among many roads, but THE ROAD. Older than kings, older than language, older than doubt itself. The Road promised everything.
Walk upon it, and your life would unfold as the stars unfolded each night. At 13 you get pussy. At 20, you would discover purpose. At 30, a home. At 40, honor. At 50, wisdom. At 60, peace. Perfect, simple, and all normies at peace knowing "the reality of life" is absolute.
The wise taught children: "Do not question the road maboi, bcause the road is REALITY ITSELF"
So all the kids march forward on the road of absolute reality. No courage needed, reality is there already, no judgement needed, no one needs to "know himself", because there is 1 road to follow. You just obey. And centuries pass.
One day, a wanderer stopped. He looked around and said: "how do we know this is the road?"
The others were horrored, said "it has always been the road".
"but who built it?"
"the ancients" say the normies.
"who told them?"
"their priors" say the normies.
"who told those priors?"
Normies silent. No answer. (more realistically they slander you but this is a fable)
At last an elder, trembling with anger, declared: "Because if this is not the Road, then we have been choosing all along. And we dont want to admit it!"
And a terrible silence fell.
