If someone asks you what you rate yourself out of 10, answering "10" isn't necessarily a delusional answer

People like to clown those who answer "10" when a podcaster / street interviewer asks what they rate themselves out of 10 as it will often be clear they have flaws that makes even an 8 on the normie scale seem too high for them

However, I don't see anything inherently wrong with regarding your own physical appearance as a 10, even if you are fully aware that there are much better looking people than you objectively and you are fully aware that others would rate you much lower.

The question of "what would you rate yourself out of 10" is entirely subjective, getting amped up over someone giving an answer that is not objective to how they compare to others seems foolish to me

It can be beneficial to know where you objectively stand compared to the competition to help you improve your position, but when it comes to the self image you hold of yourself, after you've fixed issues you wanted to fix and found peace with your appearance, I can't see any actual benefit to internally regarding yourself as what you perceive to be your objective looks rating (can never actually be found) over developing your mindset to a point where you can comfortably feel like you are a 10 / aesthetically optimal in your own mind.

I have written before about becoming 1 of 1, and as long as you tie your value to your appearance, you can always run the risk of feeling second best because there will always be a bigger mogger around the corner, however if you actually get to the point of seeing yourself as 1 of 1 (can only be achieved through your own self perception) then getting mogged in a given category won't automatically make you perceive yourself as second best
Rating yourself as a 10 is just another way of seeing yourself as 1 of 1, where your sense of value is based on your unique combination of traits, not what percentile you are in each one individually
