It is not so much about if there is a self or not, but that there is a self-process unfolding based on past causes and conditions. My invitation is not to deny your own self, but to open your self to new ways of perceiving that are not normally available due to the biological inertia of the body-mind system. In that sense, you might say that the operative system of the self is &quot;updated&quot; to something different, perhaps something more &quot;free&quot; and &quot;happy&quot;.</blockquote>
