Is freelance video editing a good way to make money?

Title. Trying to moneymaxx and I 100% don't want to go to some shit min wage job

Being a librarian or security guard sounds based and low effort, but I want something I can do from home

I have some experience with editing and its decently interesting. May be a good thing to make some money. I'm not worried about AI bc this is something I'd only do in the short term, for the next couple of years

Do you need any official training/work experience, or is just a portfolio or smth enough
I want to be able to make at least ~ 3-4k monthly by end year

But have some videos to show them as a portfolio
