Just say God. We are speaking English. Then again, you can't "see" the absence of compelling evidence, you can only not see it. Then I feel bad for you, and I hope you get better. Believing actually doesn't take any effort at all, it's doubt that takes active involvement. So following the religion you were born into is really not hard at all. I would've assumed you were not raised atheist but maybe you were, I don't know. Either way, converting should hinge on a shift in one's faith, whether through science, or belief. You say you were looking for it and if it is the case that you haven't found it, then it is, objectively, unfortunate. Actually, I don't! No, I simply believe that God guides whomever He wills, and leads astray whomever He wills. So it is not your, or anyone's doing, if one does not see evidence for God's existence (or see anything at all). The Lord is doing everything. It is not at all my intention to argue with anybody, period. Maybe except in the nicest possible manner. Either way, I must address that last sentence you typed, it's perverse in every way. I, by all means, only advocate monotheism, it is gramatically necessary to capitalise 'God' in the English language, and it is oxymoronic to claim that He was human-created. Here is what the word of God, the Quran, actually says about Arabs: [9:97] The Arabs are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and the most likely to ignore the laws that God has revealed to His messenger. God is Omniscient, Most Wise. Not a single, mind you, Arab, was ever present during the sermons of Rashad Khalifa, the biggest preacher of monotheism of his time, and there were hundreds of millions of them even then.
