Maybe I am just low IQ but to me simulation theory sounds like it's a psyop. A lot of conspiracy numerology is very rudimentary. To me it feels as though this is by design to make the connections easier to understand so that you get a confidence boost by 'understanding' an esoteric truth, I have to be careful because there are a lot of intellectual traps online designed to waste your attention and suck you into paranoia. Unless you have solid proof I would take it with a grain of salt because the internet guides you see are usually made by one of two people: 1. Passionate altruists sharing their findings (a very small minority). 2. People that are paid to promote information. Either way there is a conflict of interest and many bad actors. When I look up simulation theory there is a lot of scaremongering and a lot of negative influence which tells me that people are trying to invoke disquiet with the concept. I am not big into Gnosticism so you probably know more about this than me.
