Classical music for example can do the same thing -- create a &#039;liminal&#039; space in your mind -- but it takes you on a journey through the notes in a way the composer intended. I find myself being taken through various kinds of mental imagery when listening to songs like Morning Mood by Edvard Grieg, or Vivaldi&#039;s Four Seasons. They don&#039;t trap you in a specific place and then trail off into the night as if it&#039;s still going on in the background. It goes through a progression with specific markers and then it ends in a specific way. My intuition tells me that the nostalgia angle has been being abused longer than this most recent in-your-face version but I don&#039;t have a lot of proof for that. Infantilization of the human race is what they want. Through genetics, intelligence, emotions, their consumptions, everything. EVERYTHING is about dumbing-down and making humans into perpetual children reliant on the state.</p></blockquote><p></p>
