If I don't like the way I feel now what gurantee do I have it won't be worse after death
During that time I knew if I died I'd be tortured in hell but things got better from there still it seems like I have less of a reason to live now

The key is not evolution but rather something that might take place upon death because otherwise, none of this would make sense on a macrocosm level logically (and the very same phenomenon likely happens to most other living organisms as well). But really, maybe one day during these months if you ever change your mind, maybe remember these words and don't "fear" anything once 'something' happens.
