As far as I can tell there are a myriad of conspiracy theorists that will talk about Satanism, the Illuminati and the supposed 'cabal'. It is all schizo-rambling from people who so desperately want the world to be controlled by a cohesive group. The real world is messy and unabashedly uncoordinated, which is a far cry from the desire for order these nutcases project. Also, they stereotype elites as horrible pigs that do weird stuff, but in actuality this is a projection of the degeneracy innate in the heart of the believers. They know that if they were in positions of power they would abuse it, so they presume that elites are doing the same.

Nothing ever happens. The elites are normal people who just want to create a better and more sustainable world. In fact, they are probably even more reliable and moral due to being raised as Promethean moralists that must steward the rest of the population. If you put the average Joe in charge the country would implode overnight. I just don't see any evidence for any kind of plausible conspiracy of elites.

The Architect is the simulation creator. He created humans out of sadism, because they are pitiful in essence. Humans are doomed to hubris and malcontent as organisms that can never be sated.
