Niche music is always fun to listen to, the nicher the better...
A tool that really helped me expand my musical taste was this site: https://everynoise.com/ (warning it's pretty loud)
Instrumental music like Lounge, Jazz and DnB tend to be my favorite but what I like about music is the ability to bring life to a unique atmosphere. You can submerge yourself in the novelties of a fresh new genre and really imagine the type of person that would naturally listen to them, and expand your imaginative horizon with new sounds.

It's pretty cool to discover musical genres and sounds that others are unaware of, almost as if speaking to ancestral hunter-gatherer genetic memory foraging for a unique find in a dense jungle. Do you know of any niche or interesting musical genres that others might raise their brow at?

power electronics is niche but for a good reason i would say, i doubt anyone truly enjoys listening to it, it's just normies who wanna experiance the mystical brutal static sounds or something like that
