Self awareness and constant introspection doesn't make you smart or intellectual, it only makes you prone to decisional paralysis and ends up taking away the joy of impulsivity. Overanalyzing gives you the illusion of control; dissecting decisions makes you feel close to certainty. You find comfort in analysis because it feels safe and fosters a false sense of progress. What you're doing is just delaying uncertainty by staying in simulation and feeling like you have control over everything, when in reality, you're just avoiding action. In a world plagued by an epidemic of procrastination, overthinking, weak will, and a feeble sense of purpose, you just gotta lift the burden of living by trusting, trusting that everything will work out the way it's meant to. Some may believe in a higher purpose or the school of thought known as stoicism, but either way, you need to let go. Stop worrying about things you can't control, it's just unnecessary anguish of the soul. Thoughts?
