Discussion Regarding the state of the forum

Websites come and go, but the net stayeth forever. Elysian fields is in part one of many, but of interesting quality that is odd to define. The individual is the bases of the group, the family is the basis of society; members of a website the bases of a sites traffic. To be blatant this site will survive on the basis not of traffic flow, but of how trusting and of quality of our post are. Many members here come from different backgrounds, suffering is our common bond, we have lived. We don't need to be beaten or molested in order to have an opinion our hurt & woe give us much right to talk of ills as any other. But a choice is ours to decide how this site will persist its easy to go along because its easy that way, however if we would foster individuals capable of living through these stressful times we must never forget who we are and where we came from. Misery has followed us many years and company becomes that of tolerable devils.

How we treat each other will be a pillar of how far this site lives, without it we will be alone once more with our detestable selves, hence we should learn that we can have fun but that when it comes at the cost or misery of others what have we proven? What have we to show for ourselves? I will not demand of a man who did not know, but I will demand that he learn from this trespass.

So far the mistakes that have taken root here in part are still planted and grow each passing day, wherefore though that there is poisonous plants in root there are many people here who are of interesting and unique capability. Elysian fields has provided a garden for a variety of beings to spring there of and we must never lose sight of who and what we are and to never forgo our freedom for cheap and petty things.
