Leave it to the Chinese to be the first. The Japanese need to catch up at this point. You'll never see a Western robotics release an aesthetically pleasing waifubot. As soon as they're advanced enough to consistently do the laundry, dishes and clean without someone from Mumbai teleoperating it, and carry on a conversation without context window degradation, I'm buying one. I'll dress her in a gothic maid outfit.

The Chinese one is for sure. I'd trust one enough from Tesla/xAI though to command the kitchen and household duties, but she needs to be aesthetically pleasing, which means I'll probably have to buy one for the Japanese market. Human maid service is no different in regards to privacy, and is more awkward in my opinion. I've tried it in the past when I was a lot busier with my work, as I can fall behind on keeping up my place, and I just never felt comfortable with other humans around even though I was paying them well.
