I noticed when you rule with an iron fist, the lesser creatures in your society complain less.
Feminism is a perfect example. In the past, feminism was confrontational but it was also reasonable up to a point, and there was an open debate going on.
People complained and mocked the color of hair of some girl. The various lesser creatures lost in debate vs feminists, they became embittered.
Nowadays, feminism is very tyrannical, probably they learned a lesson or 2. And they express their wants and desires in action rather than words. Result: the people dont complain, the plebeians are unable to rationalize the power above them, unless an eceleb grifter gives them a translation in emotional terms, which rarely happens.
In other words I think people complained the most when complaint was cheaper. When it was easy, they simply resorted to slander and mockery of andrea dworkins, or other feminists. Even if andrea dworkins had much more IQ than all these conservative commentators combined, they resorted to slander like the inferior life forms often do.
But once a movement ideas are represented in universities, corporations, media orgs, governments, debates often become less about convincing opponents, the normies simply adapt, bow their heads, their slanderous lies mutate into cringe expressions of impotence and false analysis done aping some grifter on social media. Debate lowers quality, attracts only idiots who listen to grifters. Dissent isnt cheap anymore, it becomes hard.
Also, I suspect that the lesser creature plebeians dont necessarily dislike rule with an ironfist, they simply hate to think, or hate to be indivuals. But if you give them an iron fist rule, whatever that may be, they will move along, they will be happier. Hence why World Economic Forum slogan is "you will own nothing, you will be happy", which is simply true. The plebs will be happier if they own nothing.
