I recently picked up the new Rune Factory, and I'm enjoying it a tonne.
The feudal Japan/Edo Japan aesthetic is extremely cosy, and, being the semi-weeb/history lover I am, I love that vibe.
It's genuinely the biggest comeback for a game franchise I've seen in a long time. Going from Rune Factory 5, the worst in the series, to Guardians of Azuma, one of the best, is astounding. I'm genuinely in love with the game, the aesthetics, the cel-shaded graphics, the music, and the characters. I have hope for the franchise now.
Ulalaka is probably going to be the waifu I marry.
Also, the achievements are super easy to unlock for the most part and you unlock MANY by just playing the story, so hearing the Steam achievement sound going off a lot of the time is extremely satisfying.
Also, if anyone wants to add me on Steam, here's a link to my profile - I could always use more Steam friends!
Just let me know if you decide to add me so I can know in advance.
