As one enter the portal feeling driven towards something better, the white sparks of light inside the portal turns into a giant wave of white energy, blinding my eyes, stepping inside, starting falling due to the gravity, screaming in fear, close my eyes and put my hands on the face but suddenly someone grabs me as myself falls, a large cracking sound as the creature body falls to the ground, being throw into the floor due to the excessive gravity force, opening my eyes it's possible to see a giant orc grasping his head as he gives a annoying look towards my direction, opening his large green mouth, showing his giant fangs he says on a low deep tone -Human! What are you doing in the city of Magnus?
As i realize where this place is, I look around and see weird small houses made of metal, giant rats transporting wood and coal as they look tired and scrawny, the street light are red due to the age of them, the material is old pipe metal, the sky is pitch black, its night time.
-Magnus, what is this place?
The orc grins as he places a hand on his old rotten pocket in his belly.
-The city of Magnus is the lair of Salar, the mechanical tyrant!
He laughs as the rats looks at him with fear before looking away, several others orc start walking towards my direction.
Looking forward, the city is a graveyeard, as if time had stood still with skeletons laying scattered in the streets. The only sounds were the distant echoes of footsteps and the mournful howl of a lone wolf. As if I had entered a corner where war has ended, but no one ever coming back to retrieve the bodies. their bones bleached white by the sun. The air was thick with the stench of decay, the stench of decay hung heavy in the air, mingling with the acrid smell of smoke, and the only sounds were the distant cries of scavenging birds.
