Venting Some people aren't worth your time

I find myself sometimes in the position of giving my all to people I connect with or find interesting only to their interest never really being reciprocated. i.e always initiating the conversation, inviting them to spend time with me, making it a point to be around them when finally, it just doesn't stick.

I seem to have a hard time letting those I connect with go since it happens so little and I could tell they enjoyed being around me but for whatever reason they hold themselves back. All I can do is let go.
