In the 2000s, men tried to get better results with women through PUA without realizing that in this era setting yourself apart by looking better than the competition was the most effective tactic for getting women as women were no longer dating to find a long term partner, they were just going with the flow and fucking a goodlooking guy had novelty and seemed to have no consequences for them (unaware of inability to pairbond with normie husband after)
In the 90s when girls were more concerned about finding a long term partner and actually went to nightlife environments to find this, being able to talk your way into gaining their trust could work for the average guy who a girl could see as a viable husband but in the 2000s this no longer applied.
In the 2010s, men realized that looks were a bigger predictor of slaying success than being able to run PUA techniques hence the rise of PSL forums.
The original looksmaxxers were gymcels which showed by the massive bodybuilding.com misc userbase with PUAhate being fringe in comparison.
Yes just looking good could be enough for you at the start of the 2010s, but the standards began increasing year on year and exploded in the middle of the decade. Most guys were focused on running gymcel game in this decade (myself included) when the benefits of facial improvements could've been absolutely massive during this time.
I did improve my face thanks to the testosterone from roids and getting my face leaner and I seen significant increase in my slaying after this but if I had my post jaw surgery face during my slaying peak of 2017-2019 I imagine I could've gotten way better slays.
In summary: in the 2010s the majority of guys thought it was about improving the body while the fringe thought that improving the face would yield way better results and sought out ways to improve the face.
In the 2020s, normies started to catch on to the idea of looksmaxxing and now at the half way point of the decade it is completely mainstream with there being hundreds if not thousands of tiktoks about it posted daily to the point where I doubt there are any tiktok users under 20 who haven't been exposed to it.
Women's standards for looks have increased so much throughout the 2020s that it is no longer a matter of being able to ascend to outcompete your immediate competition because the standards for a girl to give an instant fuck to a guy she see's as hot in a club have increased so much since the 2000s that it's not even worth the effort due to how good you have to look just to get the results an upper MTN could get in 2009.
(Similar to how an average man could get a cute loyal wife in the 1950s being a 21 y/o milkman/average wagecel while now that's almost non existent)
So what has replaced the lookspill for getting a partner in the 2020s if we consider 95%+ of men aren't deemed good looking enough to be chosen just off the back of their looks... familiaritypill and statuspill
Basically be in the circle of the girl and meet her regularly so she softens her looks standards for you or have high status so that foids know who you are and feels familiar to you without you knowing them so that when they reach out to you they've already built a fantasy about you and desire for you.
Normies are still gonna be larping on about looks for the rest of the decade when it is status that will get you results between 2025-29
By the time the 2030s roll around, normies will finally catch on that status is how the latest band of slayers got their slays as opposed to relying on looksmaxxing and nothing more.
By then the trend will have shifted again where everyone is going to be trying to boost their status to the point where that also becomes oversaturated and redundant and the trend on how to get results with foids will have switched again.
I however am going to profit off preaching the statuspill in the coming years so that when it finally picks up mainstream attention by 2030, I'll have profited from it and be in a prime position to make more profit from it before I catch onto the next trend
