where do you guys fall into?

1777223254425

1. Alpha Male – The Natural Leader

  • Position: Top of the visible hierarchy. Commands respect naturally.
  • Core traits: Charismatic, confident, socially dominant, decisive.
  • Social role: Leads men, attracts women effortlessly, shapes group dynamics.
  • Strengths: High social proof, decisive leadership, good at reading people.
  • Weaknesses: Can be arrogant, overconfident, and reckless.
  • Dating dynamics: Women compete for him; rarely chases. Sexual abundance is the default.
  • Pitfall: If dethroned or loses status, the fall can be brutal.

2. Sigma Male – The Lone Wolf

  • Position: Operates outside the visible hierarchy but can rival Alpha in status.
  • Core traits: Self-sufficient, enigmatic, strategic, avoids unnecessary group politics.
  • Social role: Comes and goes as he pleases, respected but not always liked.
  • Strengths: Independence, mystery, ability to navigate without relying on group validation.
  • Weaknesses: Can become isolated, misunderstood, or lack allies in conflict.
  • Dating dynamics: Women are drawn to the mystery and self-confidence; appeal is high but in a different way from Alpha.
  • Pitfall: If too withdrawn, risks irrelevance.

3. Beta Male – The Loyal Lieutenant

  • Position: Second in command to the Alpha. High status but not the top.
  • Core traits: Competent, loyal, respected, enforces Alpha’s vision.
  • Social role: The right-hand man, often running logistics and keeping the group functioning.
  • Strengths: Stability, trustworthiness, ability to lead when Alpha is absent.
  • Weaknesses: Dependent on Alpha for top-level status; rarely gets the full spotlight.
  • Dating dynamics: Attractive via status-by-proxy; often marries and settles earlier.
  • Pitfall: Can become bitter if overlooked or if Alpha’s leadership fails.

4. Delta Male – The Everyday Man

  • Position: Middle of the hierarchy; the "normal" man.
  • Core traits: Hard-working, dependable, follows rules, not seeking domination.
  • Social role: Backbone of society — soldiers, professionals, workers.
  • Strengths: Reliable, cooperative, steady provider.
  • Weaknesses: Lacks the charisma or ambition to climb higher.
  • Dating dynamics: Attracts through stability, familiarity, and reliability rather than raw dominance.
  • Pitfall: If resentful or disillusioned, can slide into Gamma territory.

5. Gamma Male – The Disillusioned Outsider

  • Position: Below Delta in terms of social competence, but often thinks they are higher.
  • Core traits: Intelligent but socially awkward, often self-deluded about their place.
  • Social role: Contrarian, daydreamer, sometimes the “secret king” who believes they deserve more.
  • Strengths: Creativity, niche expertise, persistence in certain domains.
  • Weaknesses: Passive-aggression, pedestalizing women, bitterness.
  • Dating dynamics: Tries to "logic" women into attraction or expects romance as a reward for effort.
  • Pitfall: Can spiral into victim mentality, grudges, and online escapism.

6. Omega Male – The Social Reject

  • Position: Bottom of the hierarchy.
  • Core traits: Socially isolated, low-status, often completely outside social circles.
  • Social role: Loner not by choice; may be shunned or invisible.
  • Strengths: Freedom from social games (but often unwanted).
  • Weaknesses: Loneliness, lack of influence, sometimes deep resentment.
  • Dating dynamics: Almost no success without major self-improvement or external change.
  • Pitfall: Can sink into nihilism, addiction, or obsessive escapism.

I'm primarily beta but secondary alpha, I took many tests, being beta isn't so bad, they're just an alpha male in training, its good that I'm secondarily an alpha, it means I'll probably become alpha some day.

looked at chart expecting to be sigma
after reading, more like gabba or omega I @infini

Also I get that it's pyramid shape for hierarchy but you'd usually expect the base of the pyramid to be the most common type. whereas complete loners / social failures are actually much more of a minority rather bulk group
