Men were willing to do 40+ hours a week back then as at least with the social contrat of old in place if they worked hard (and weren't killed in a major war that happened every 40-80 years) they would almost be guaranteed to own a house, have a wife, and kids. Now you work for 40+ a week just to barely survive and pay rent; no savings, no gf in sight, simply put the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore.</p></blockquote><p></p>
