There are bars too, but people don&#039;t go there, or the people that do go there are much older or aren&#039;t looking to talk to you. It&#039;s almost as if my current circumstances were the product of an error in urban planning. I don&#039;t have any connections to old highschool friends anymore, and even in university I never took up the quest for &quot;social mobility&quot;, I sort of hung my head in defeat and ended up washed out from academia. Anyway, identifying as an incel is usually an admission of defeat. Of course I can&#039;t predict where I&#039;ll end up in a few years, so maybe that&#039;ll change.</blockquote>
