Any age where a 2nd party is involved to provide and care for you is the absolute worst by any metric. Adolescent motor functions, or in the case of the elderly, declining, is like being forced into suspension. In old age you’re awaiting the inevitable, as a kid time extends onward forever. The elderly can’t function without support, the surrounding world is foreign to children. You’re essentially inept.
Mid teens to young adulthood are the best years since you have expectations for yourself, you set off on an adventure as you come of age and are thrown into the world. Everything after is downhill

Unless you successfully get into the adventure, then it continues into adulthood, your prime as a man once you have experience to mix with strength until you become the old strong guy archetype.

Late teens to early 20s are the worst because at that age stage people expect you to figure out what you want to do so people put pressure on you.

People are trying to direct you where you should go with your life and have expectations but it pales in comparison to the obligations you submit to once you’re financially independent. Post graduate, entering the workforce or whatever

You’ll hear people say they with they were in their teens and early 20s again, never their 30s+ unless there’s like some specific event they wish they could go back to.

Those years are when potential is at its peak. You’re old enough to act with independence and young enough to not be boxed in. If you ever have ambitions it’s when your choice matters. No more idling around as a child wishing you could do what you want without supervision. There’s no more potential once you reach your 30s, just results. Circumstantial, but yeah. Once you reach certain ages there’s milestone you’re supposed to have reached.

Extremely subjective. A common answer though seems to be anything before college. Usually the teen years. Most notably high school (maybe middle school for some), which a lot of people note to be the worst time of their life. A lot of people just hate all the drama that comes with high school, as well as sitting in classes for like 7 to 8 hours every day. People usually like college way better though.

Another somewhat common answer seems to be the elderly years. Which I hear depending on the life you lead could be your most carefree peaceful years, but if you've wasted your life you have to face the fact that you know you'll be dying soon and haven't accomplished anything. Not to mention the health issues that come with being elderly in general.

A lot of people also talk about hitting a certain amount of "clarity" by the time they hit 30. That their 20s and younger were rough because they were trying to figure out who they were and their brains weren't fully developed, but now things are way better, stuff like that.

But yeah. It's all subjective. For me though, I don't know if there ever was a worst or best age to be, lol. My life has been pretty consistently shitty all the way.

You look down at your hands and they are wrinkled and devoid of youth.

When you reach this point you have died the vitality and life you once seized the day with is gone for good.

50-60s is when you are on the bridge to total oldceldom… it marks beginning of it being objectively over beyond belief.

I feel sorrow for the old trying to make their way, I often think what I would do at that age if i reach it, will I have the guts to maybe rope.
