How do you gentleman study? As of late I've take to reading on logic and to better understand it I have been reading the chapter ending summery first and then reading the contents back wards. For example 1.1 Lorem ipsum Cogito ergo sum, mementos sum es bonum. 2.2 Gualica bellum Carthago delenda est I start at 2.2 and go backwards to the beginning. So in other words, I start at the end and go to the beginning and I oddly find it enjoyable to say the least. I'm also trying to use a few principles of classical pedagogy specifically these three concepts: 1. Festina Lente: Make Haste Slowly (master each step rather than rushing through content). 2. Multum Non Multa: Do Fewer Things, But Do Them Well (better to master a few vital ideas than cursorily cover many fragmented details that will be forgotten). 3. Repetito Mater Memoriae: Repetition Is The Mother of Memory and Makes Learning Permanent (lively, regular review and repetition makes learning permanent). The truth of the matter is, I am working on a retarded level of thinking and I need to work at my own pace. How do you gentlemen study?
